This is a nice looking Brother Profile 585 Knitting Machine. Comes with the original accessories shown. It also comes with a 90 page owners manual, which I downloaded and printed out. This machine is untested. I did notice that there is no corrosion on the tops of the needles or anywhere inside the case. The bed itself appears to be rust free. The ends of the caser lid are metal in a shiny chrome finish and entire case is made from metal with the exception of the carrying handle. Done in a retro baby blue. Made in Japan. Testing done: No testing done. Machine appears to be in near mint condition, but because this is not my field- may have unknown problems. Case Description: The case is in good condition with a very slight bend near one chrome metal end cap [see picture 20]. The handle and latches function properly, but please use 2 hands when carrying it, just to be safe. I don’t like to trust those 60 year old plastic handles altho this one is strong and fully intact.. Cosmetic description of machine: It is in very good cosmetic condition, especially considering this is probably from the 1960’s. All the accessories are intact altho the original oil bottle is dry. The original brother white case lid for the accessory parts was broken but has been repaired with clear duct tape and the box fits securely inside the knitting machine for storage. I researched this model and the few I found did not usually include all the accessories and the original storage box for them. Instruction manual includes settings for different patterns including zigzag, hoging, tracking, tucking, lacelike, fair isle and more including setting the pattern with the built in selector buttons. Well maintained used Brother knitting machine model # KH-585. Includes everything in pictures and also a printed manual. Original box not included but will be carefully packaged for shipping… This Brother Kh-585 Knitting Machine is a great find for all you knitting enthusiasts out there! This machine is perfect for creating beautiful and intricate designs with ease. It is a reliable and sturdy machine that will last you for years to come. This knitting machine is ideal for both beginners and experts alike. With its easy-to-use manual, you can create stunning pieces without any hassle.
