Named and researched to Vietnam veteran Officer nurse and later final rank Lt Colonel 405 CSH Connecticut National Guard. Original Tunic dates from the 1980’s unnamed. Most of the ribbons are for National guard service, though in her obituary it is written that she did receive the bronze star all insignia is original to the tunic., including the use of the 405 CSH insignia. Also included in the sale is a 1967 contract dated poplin jungle hat with sewn on Captains bars. Most interesting is the 27th Surgical hospital crest applied upside down on the boonie is a korean made type and rare for the collector. Any 27th Surgical hospital named items are scarce. The boonie has various pins attached, the nomenclature tag remains, though only halfway stitched on and while still legible has the “BANKS” in pencil., and it hard to see in the image but there.
