The ebony or quarter-sawn maple fingerboard with a 10-14 inch compound radius has Ultra rolled edges with carefully rolled edges, medium jumbo frets, phosphorescent Luminlay side dots, and a Graph Tech TUSQ nut. The tapered neck heel and deep body contour allow easy access to the high positions, and the head-adjustable truss rod allows for quick neck adjustment. The American Ultra II Precision Bass is equipped with Ultra II NoiselessVintage pickups, which give you a wide range of superb sounds, from warm tones with a vintage feel to crisp modern tones, without any hum noise. The patented S-1 switch allows you to switch between active and passive pickup modes, and gives you passive tone control or active 3-band EQ tone control for adjusting the mid-range frequency band. It is equipped with highly practical features such as an adjustable HiMass top-load/string-through-body bridge, Fender lightweight tuning machines with tapered shafts, knurled aluminum knobs and a 1-ply anodized pickguard.
