If you have skin lesions (irritated skin, rash, postoperative wound, recent scar, presence of staples, traumatic wound, burn), do not apply to the affected areas because electrostimulation could aggravate skin irritation or disrupt healing. If you have skin sensitivity problems in the lower abdomen or back, do not apply the patch to avoid the risk of secondary burns due to an intensity setting that is too high and that you cannot control due to lack of sensitivity. If you have cancer, do not apply on or near the cancerous or infected lesion because the current produced can promote the spread of cancer cells to other parts of the body. This device is not intended for and should not be used by a pregnant woman. Do not use this device while driving (cars, machines), or in the event of an activity where electrical stimulation or involuntary muscle contraction can be dangerous. Do not use this device while you sleep to avoid the risk of pain, inflammation or secondary burns due to an intensity setting that is too high and that you cannot control due to lack of vigilance. Do not use this device on areas with staples, implants or any metal element because this could cause burns or pain. Do not use this device in a very humid place such as a bathroom or when you are in the bath or shower. Directions for use: Refer to the instructions for more details 1. Identifying the sides of the patch: On a table, place the patch so that the back side is facing you (control box against the table). 2. Preparing the adhesive gel refill: Open the sachet and take a refill of adhesive gel. One refill corresponds to the right side of the patch and the other to the left side. Carefully remove the blue protective film, making sure that the adhesive gel remains in place on the transparent protective film. If necessary, you can hold the gel with your finger. Keep the blue protective film to replace it on the patch after each use. 3. Applying the gels to the patch: Using the transparent protective film, correctly position the gel on the patch, making sure that the tab of the gel is superimposed on that of the patch. Proceed in the same way with the other gel by repeating steps 2 and 3. Once the two gels are positioned on the electrical circuits, remove the 2 transparent protective films, making sure that the gels remain on the patch (hold the gels with your finger if necessary). 1 pair of adhesive gels = approximately 30 uses 4. Application and start-up of the patch: Apply the patch to the painful area and briefly press the ON/OFF button: 1 beep sounds and 1 green light comes on. You are on PROGRAM 1. If you do not see a green light or hear a beep, this means that the patch is completely discharged. Recharge the patch using the cable provided. 5. Program selection: This patch contains 3 programs. Each program lasts 30 minutes. By default, PROGRAM 1 is automatically selected when the patch is started: this program is recommended as a first-line treatment. To change programs, press and hold the “+” button (approx. 3 seconds, until you hear a series of beeps): 2 beeps indicate that program 2 is engaged. Release the button. A further long press will switch to program 3: 3 beeps. To start stimulation, go to the next step. 6. Starting stimulation and adjusting the intensity: After selecting your program, briefly press the “+” button once to start stimulation. Adjust the intensity by briefly pressing the “+” and “-” buttons. If the sensation felt is painful, reduce the intensity. 15 intensity levels are available 7. Switching off the patch: After 30 minutes, the device switches off automatically. If you wish to switch off the device before the 30 minutes have elapsed, briefly press the ON/OFF button: 3 beeps and 3 light signals indicate that the device has switched off. 8. Storing the patch: Before removing the patch, check that it is no longer on. Then gently remove the patch, making sure that the gels remain on the electrical circuit (hold the gels with your finger if necessary). Leave the gels in place on the patch and cover them with the blue protective films that you have kept. Your patch is ready for future use. For subsequent uses, remove the blue protective films and go directly to step 4. Precautions for use: Subject to medical advice. Before using electrotherapy, a healthcare professional must have made a diagnosis of the origin and reason for your pain. Your pharmacist or doctor can give you instructions on how to perform self-treatment with electrotherapy. Do not use the patch on the following areas: – Do not apply near the heart or on the torso because the electrical signals can interfere with the electrical signals of the heart. – Do not apply in front or on the sides of the neck (carotid, throat) because the electrostimulation could trigger laryngeal and pharyngeal spasms leading to breathing problems. Stimulation of the carotid artery can cause a slow heart rate or unusually low blood pressure in people with blood vessel problems. – This patch is not designed for application on the head. – Do not use on the genitals.
