From a WWII Veteran’s Estate Sale. This rare gem is a WWII German Wehrmacht Army Electric Current Regulator 1943 Original and Wooden Case with leather strap. The bottom is a sliding door and compartment for the original battery and connector wires (included). The outside metal top and bottom part of the case does show some wear, but the inside is in extremely good condition. All lettering, including the instructions (written in German), are readable. The open and close clasp works without any problems. The metal hinges do not show signs of any rust The leather handle is soft. Included is the original battery and connector wires that we, surprisingly, found when we opened the bottom compartment. For historical purposes, the veteran who possessed this item was in the 4th Armored Division, which played a key role in the Battle of the Bulge and supported the encircled US forces in Bastogne, Belgium. I was told that this item was obtained during one of those campaigns of the war.
